11-09-2019 - ESCV 2019
We inform you that from 11 to 14 September, AB ANALITICA will be present at the 22nd Congress of the European Society for Clinical Virology (ESCV).
During the Congress, we will present the poster: "SUITABILITY OF SALIVA SAMPLE AND LYSIS PROTOCOL FOR CMV DNA DETECTION: A PRELIMINARY STUDY" (abstract ID 353), deriving from a validation work of our REALQUALITY RQ-CMV kit on saliva samples.
The possibility of using the kit with saliva samples is particularly important for the diagnosis of congenital CMV viral infection. Among the congenital infections, CMV viral infection is the most common and can be either asymptomatic or symptomatic. We refer that it is a diagnosis test of congenital Cytomegalovirus by its identification in urine, saliva or other body fluids taken within the first 2-3 weeks of life.
Urine and saliva samples have the highest sensitivity, with the advantage that the latter is a more easily manageable type of sample even in the case of neonatal screening.
We will be very pleased to welcome you to our stand!
Please join us at our booth #29.
